I picked up two bottles of bubbly a couple of weeks ago and had the chance to down them the other night. Both were from the same producer, but this one was the Sparkling Rose.

80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir make for an interesting combination, and for a nicely priced bubbly this doesn't fail to deliver.

It's bottle fermented, which is something that I learned about while reading Champage for Dummies about the same time that I purchased it.

Give it a try, as for the price, it's worth the test drive.

Our Mission: The Black Winer strives to expose African Americans [and others] to wines, without the flair, stuffiness, and airs of elitism and snobbery that you get from sommeliers and high level wine enthusiasts. We believe in finding something that you like the taste of, outside of the basic brands that you have been force-fed over the years through a combination of ethnically targeted advertising, and what people in your family have historically been drinking.
